Arrival
to Lima:
We
will pick you up from the airport upon
arrival and take you to the hotel in
Lima.

Flight
to Cusco:
In
the morning we will take you to the
airport in Lima for your flight to
Cusco (1 hour). Once in Cusco, we
will take you to the hotel there.
You will have time to rest and to
drink a "coca tea" to get used to
the altitude.

City Tour: 1st day
After settle in the hotel,
you will visit the highlights of Cusco
City as the Cathedral (great example
of the colonial architecture of the
17th century); San Blas church with
the best wooden carved pulpit (a magnificent
piece of art of the 17th century);
and the Archbishopric's Palace with
a collection of paintings of the 17th
century.

Cusco
City Tour: 2nd day
You
will visit the Inca remains in Cusco.
The tour will start in Sacsayhuaman,
there are massive walls made of huge
stones that fit perfectly, an impressive
example of the Inca architecture. From
there you will ride on a horse for 3
hours to visit 2 other archaeological
sites: Qenqo (a temple where the Incas
mummified their dead) and Tambomachay
(a temple where the Inca king went to
take ceremonial baths to purify himself).

Excursion
to the Incas Sacred Valley:
We will take you to Pisac,
the first town in the Urubamba Valley.
There you will do a short hike (without
backpacks) of 3 hours to visit the
Inca temple on the top of a mountain.
Then, we will take you back to Pisac
to lunch and to do some shopping in
its famous handicraft market. Afterwards,
we will take you to Ollantaytambo
town, after a nice ride along the
valley. In Ollantaytambo you will
tour a huge Inca temple. Finally,
you will return to Cusco city in the
evening.

Inca Trail: 1st day (Distance: 16 Kms
/ 10 miles)
Early in the morning (4 AM)
a private bus will pick you up to take
you to the beginning of the trail. After
2 hours there will be a stop in Mollepata
town to stretch. After two more hours,
you will reach Soraypampa campsite at
3,850 meters (12,705 feet) above sea
level. There you will eat breakfast
and afterwards you will start the hike.
The first part takes 4 hours to the
Salkantay pass, the highest point on
the trail (4,600 meters / 15,180 feet).
You will stop to lunch next to a nice
lagoon. From the pass you will hike
down for 4 more hours to Rayan-niyoc
campsite at 2,890 meters (9,537 feet).
There you will have a nice dinner and
a good sleep.

Inca Trail: 2nd day (Distance: 15 Kms
/ 9.3 miles)
After a good breakfast, you
will start the hike again. The first
part is downhill for 3 hours and a half
to Winaypoco. You will leave behind
the rocky mountains to enter to the
cloud-forest. White-water rivers and
lush vegetation will surround you. After
lunch you will continue with your hike
for another 4 hours until Playa campsite
(altitude: 2,350 mts - 7,755 ft). Along
the trail you will see coffee and banana
plantations, and waterfalls.

Inca Trail: 3rd day (Distance: 12 Kms
/ 7.4 miles)
In the morning you will hike
for 3 hours and a half to climb to Llactapata
(altitude: 2,700 mts - 8,910 ft). This
part ot the trail is an original Inca
trail leading to the Llactapata Inca
site. From there you will see Machu
Picchu. Then you will hike down for
another two hours to the bottom of the
Urubamba valley (altitude: 1,870 mts
- 6,171 ft). After lunch, you will take
the train to Aguas Calientes town, there
you will stay in a hotel with a hot
shower and a comfortable bed.

Machu
Picchu tour:
Early in the morning (5:30
AM) you will take a bus (25 minutes)
to Machu Picchu. You will be one of
the first tourists in the place. You
will have a guided tour for 2 hours
and then you will have free time to
discover and explore the site by yourself
before the crowds of tourists arrive.
In the afternoon, you will take the
bus down to Aguas Calientes town to
take the train back to Cusco at 4 PM.
You will arrive in Cusco at 8:30 PM.

Free
day in Cusco:
You will have the day free
to do some shopping and to tour the
city by yourself.
OPTIONAL:
Rafting in the
Urubamba river
In the morning (9 AM), we will take
you to the Urubamba river. There you
will be on a raft for 2 hours and
a half. The level of the white-water
rafting is very good, adventurous
but safe (class II and III). After
a picnic lunch, you will return to
Cusco at 6 PM.

Flight
to Lima:
Transfer to the airport in the morning
for your flight to Lima (1 hour).
Flight to Brazil:
In the afternoon (1:55 PM) you will
fly to Sao Paulo (Brazil). The flight
is almost 5 hours. Upon arrival (8:40
PM) you will be taken to the hotel
in Sao Paulo city.

Meeting:
You will meet the rest of
your group in the morning.
Sao Paulo City tour:
After breakfast you will
tour some of the city's highlights
as the Ibirapuera Park, the Cathedral
and the City's Theater. You can finish
the tour with a drink at the restaurant
on the 42nd floor of “Italia” building
with an amazing 360º view of
this huge city (the biggest of South-America).
Journey to Paraty:
In the afternoon (4 PM), you will
take the bus to Paraty town. The bus
ride is 6 hours.

Sailing
boat tour:
You will tour the bay of Paraty and
its islands in a sailing boat. It's
a half day tour (5 hours) in the morning
to enjoy the lovely beaches and their
crystal water. You can do snorkeling
as well.

In the afternoon you will take a 4
hours bus to Rio de Janeiro.

City Tour: 1st day
On your first half day city tour you
will tour the Corcovado's Christ,
symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
After taking pictures from this impressive
lookout-point, you will tour the Tijuca
Rainforest Park nearby.
You will have free time in the afternoon
to lay down on Ipanema beach or do some
shopping in Copacabana.

City Tour: 2nd day
On your second city tour you will
go to the “Pao de Azucar” (Sugarloaf)
lookout-point to take more pictures
of this lovely city. Afterwards you
will tour some of the city's highlights
as the “Sambodromo” where the Carnival
parade takes place every year.
More free time to shop or to watch a
soccer match in the Maracana Stadium
(biggest in the world).

Flight
to Foz de Iguazu:
A 3 hours flight from Rio will take
you to this city near the Iguazu Falls.

side
In the afternoon you will
tour the Brazilian side of the Iguazu
Falls. Impressive views of these amazing
waterfalls will surround you, and
you will hear the roar of the “Devil's
throat”.

Falls tour: Argentinean side
In the morning you will tour
the Argentinean side of the waterfalls.
You will get to the edge to see the
drop from above. You can also take
a boat ride to get close enough to
been splashed by the waterfalls.
Journey to Sao Paulo:
In the evening (7 PM), you will take
an over-night bus to Sao Paulo. It
is 16 hours to this city.
EXTRA: Flight to Sao Paulo
You can skip the 16 hours bus ride
flying from Foz de Iguazu to Sao Paulo.
The flight is less than 3 hours with
1 connection.
