Name of the Tour: Cusco and Machu Picchu

Description: If you don't have too much time and you want to visit the most interesting sites in Peru, this is your tour. In this trip you will tour the lovely city of Cusco and the amazing archaeological sites near it as Sacsayhuaman and Machu Picchu. You will also have free time for your shopping and if you want to add some adventure to your trip, you can do rafting in the Urubamba river.

01 Arrival to Lima:
We will pick you up from the airport upon arrival and take you to the hotel in Lima.		 Lima
02 Flight to Cusco:
Transfer to the airport in Lima / Flight to Cusco / Transfer to the hotel in Cusco. You will have the afternoon free to rest and tour the city by yourself.		 Cusco

Cusco City Tour:
In the afternoon (1:30 PM) you will visit the Cathedral. Then, you will tour the amazing Inca sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay.  These archeological sites are the remains of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.

Machu Picchu Tour:
In the morning (6:15 AM) you will take the train to Machu Picchu. After a nice ride through the Urubamba valley, you will arrive to Aguas Calientes town, from there you will take a bus up to Machu Picchu. There you will have a guided tour for 2 hours; afterwards you will have free time to explore the ruins by yourself. In the afternoon (4 PM), you will take the train back to Cusco.

Free day in Cusco:
You will have the day free to do some shopping and to enjoy this lovely city.

OPTIONAL: Rafting in the Urubamba river
We will take you to the Urubamba river to have fun on a raft. The level of it is very good, adventurous but safe (rapids class II and III). You will be back in Cusco city in the afternoon (5 PM).

Transfer to the airport in Cusco / Flight to Lima.		 (not included)

bullet Rafting in the Urubamba river: 30 US dollars (it includes the complete gear and box lunch).

PAYMENT:
To confirm your booking you have to pre-pay 300 US dollars, that you can pay with a check direct to INDIANA EXPEDITION. The rest can be paid upon arrival in cash (US dollars).

For payments with Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) we use a secure online service. You can pay the 300 dollars deposit or the total with credit cards. All payments using a credit card are subject to a 8% fee.
